Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Sarah Maree Cameron One Womb Please!

Sarah Maree Cameron One Womb Please!

You may have heard her on radio or seen her popping up on your TV. Now Sarah Maree is bringing her smash-hit sold out show back to Melbourne International Comedy Festival for four nights only!

After being diagnosed with cervical cancer and endometriosis (plus other things to do with her pipes), Sarah Maree has had to go down the path of IVF and surrogacy. If you know all about this or nothing at all, this is a show for you!

An acclaimed comedian and award-winning radio presenter, Sarah Maree has toured Australia and Canada extensively performing sell-out shows and winning over critics and crowds alike with her warm, relatable and shockingly true and funny story-telling. She has supported comics like Claire Hooper, Dave Thornton, Dave O’Neil, Harley Breen and Akmal Saleh, and has been heard daily on Triple M.

“Sarah Maree is piss yourself funny. Bring nappies!" Harley Breen

'Real stories as shocking as they are funny.' ★★★★ Brunswick Daily

'Cancer, endometriosis, IVF and surrogacy. You might think "how can a comedian make those things funny?". That is the power of Sarah Maree's show.' ★★★★★ Subculture Media

'Sarah Maree’s One Womb Please! is a perfect mix of vulnerability and irreverence. Hilarious and warm, this show is a must!' Future Women
